- All58ParksExplorerWe stayed at Mounthaven in 2014. It was very nice, extremely close to the park, full hook-ups, etc. We would not hesitate to stay there again. One note, it had no wi-fi and no cell service anywhere nearby. So don't expect to be connected, if that matters to you.
- JKwockExplorerThank you for your replies. I will try Mounthaven.

We really liked Mounthaven in Ashford -- well managed and well located. FHU, too.
X2!
Great private park, located very near Nisqually entrance.

- LwiddisExplorer IIMt. Rainier and full hook-ups isn't going to happen even in the National Forests surrounding this national park. Why do you need them for 2 to 3 days?
- Marine_By_ChoicExplorerMy choice of close by campgrounds would be the Mossyrock Park Campground (https://www.mytpu.org/tacomapower/parks-recreation/mossyrock-park.htm). It is approximately 45 miles from Mt. Rainier.
- dennis1ExplorerMt Rainier has three campgrounds, Ohanapecosh, White River, and Cougar Rock. None have FHU. All the campground have a length restriction. All open late spring May, June time. There are many USFS CAMPGOUNDS in the area. Check Mt Baker Snowqualmie NF highway 410, Wenache NF, AND GIFFIORD PINCHOT NF. OPEN dares are mid to late May, Memorial Day. If you are coming from California try and pass thru Bend Oregon and head up toward Mt Hood. Great camping and good fishing at Lake trillium.
- Roy_LynneExplorerThere are two entrances for Mount Rainier on the west side. Paradise and Sunrise
Personally I like Paradise but both are awesome. Check out RV campground in the town of Ashland, WA as that is about as close as you are going to get to the Paradise entrance. Check out Tacoma Power Campgrounds around the town of Morton. They are within driving distance. - 2gypsies1Explorer IIIHere's a good reference for any kind of campground/rv park near Mt. Rainier:
