We had our TT stored in storage at both Lakewood and ocean lakes. Never an issue.

Been to Pirateland twice and never had an ant issue.

I have heard that if there are ants at your site that you can call the office and they will come take care of them. But like I said, we never seen them.

If you happen to end up with serious ant hills close by that bother you try some Amdro fire ant bait. Made for fire ants but will work on others. Don't know if it kills them but they will move ( prob to your neighbors ). I use it occasionally but only if I have to. I'd rather leave the ants alone if they are leaving me alone, they serve a purpose ( except fire ants..kill every one you see ).

WE have stayed at Lakewood before and most recently Ocean Lakes the last couple of years and never had an ant problem.

So I was just reading some reviews and forgot all about this one. Is there a serious ant problem in MB? we have an ocean front site at Pirate Land (no cement pad). I do remember reading about it though last year. I was going to bring some ant killer and spray. is there anything else that is recommended for it if there is a problem?

You will have a blast. Something we like to do while in other places like that is check out the other parks to see if we would like them better for the next time. For a good inexpensive seafood dinner, check out Bubba's Fish Shack in surfside.

That's a swamp. Some folks like swamps. We don't but some do.

Check out Brookgreen Gardens which is across the road from Huntington Beach State Park. After you go drop into Muriells Inet for some great seafood.
