Mystic Seaport
My family is considering staying at the Mystic KOA for THanksgiving this year. I am wondering if there are still things to do at the seaport in late November? Anyone familiar with the area?

- We stayed at the Seaport Campground this summer and had a pretty good time. Sun Resorts bought them out so they are upgrading the facilities.
Check and see if the Seaport is doing anything special for the holiday. About a mile south of the Aquarium on CT-27? was the Sea View Snack Bar that sells fresh seafood and you sit at picnic tables with an awesome view. Probably seasonal but worth the stop if open. - I live in the area but would give them a call they do a lot at xmas but I do not know if it is set up by Thanksgiving. The aquarium is near by also. Of course the casino, which has kid stuff. You could also give the Essex Steam Train a call it is great family fun for the holidays. I would be glad to help you with questions. Acers High in East Lyme is a year round campground that is close by, they have won best small campground a couple times. PM me if I can help.
