how much noise from the airport is there? Had anyone stayed here?

You will get some noise from the couple of private tour planes ( single engine prop planes) that go out a few times a day. Also, a few times a day a business/private/commuter jet will take off. To me, it's not a big deal as it is so infrequent and is basically during mid-morning to mid-afternoon when we are exploring Acadia and the surrounding areas anyway. What site are you in.
We will be traveling with my brother so we have sites 310 and 311. Made reservations in April. These were the only 2 sites they had together on the water.
We are in 603 this year...the ones we wanted were already booked when I called last year.
