Nashville attractions

Thanks for all the suggestions. We'll be thee Sunday and Monday. It's supposed to rain but we'll just have to deal with it.

Fellow NH Yankees - second on the Gen'l Jackson Riverboat! 'cept we did the luncheon - chose the on-deck dining to see the sights rather than the inside fancy dinner/show - still had GREAT entertainment! For good eats a local recommended Demos restaurant, specialty is steak and spaghetti (yup!), located on Commerce St. - another winner! We took the shuttle bus right from Two Rivers into town - worked great. ST

Go see The Nashville King show. We really liked it.

While wandering around The honky tonks on Broadway and you get hungry, try Jacks bar b que. With their Fall off the bone meats.

Last time we were there, Kenny Chesney and his friends were upstairs having a great time. I think there were having a pre show party before performing next door for some charity event at Roberts

We have spent hours inside the Opryland Hotel. It is a city under one roof. Don't miss it. If you enjoy country music history, visit Tootsie's in the downtown area. Also, the country music hall of fame is a must see. Have fun...

We have enjoyed the General Jackson riverboat and show. It includes a very good dinner and an excellent, fast-moving music show while cruising the river.

You may also enjoy the Parthenon reproduction and the nice park around it.

I second the Hermitage, Monell's, Music row, and the wife likes wandering around the gaylord resort.
