It does appear to me that you were not going to enjoy a place like Big Bend. You obviously have an issue with "illegals" and visiting a place that is right on the border, that is a popular tourist stop, and that has a well-known and documented (it's right on the website) illegals issue is like visiting Disneyland when you dislike Disney.
You don't have issues with illegals / criminals??? Hmmmmm! Like saying you don't have issues with murderers, pushers, prostitutes, thieves, or other criminals
