that is funny all the post in less than 5 mins.. guess that hit a hot button.
I would love to find a way to give more time and energy to NPS through volunteering to help clean up, and other service projects. Just not sure how to go about finding out more.
I clicked on a link at one park site and got no where.
and for the record my little 70 dollars send to NPS is not worth much. But when you do that say 5000 times now you are talking real money like bill clinton used to say. In reading reviews of the NPS facilities most are in low good to poor condition and most don't have enough money to do much more than plug holes in the dam so to speak.
I would not mind paying more if that money stayed at the NPS and there area of concern..
We do plan to volunteer when possible when we go full time in 4-5 yrs. maybe by then I will amass enough wealth I can do like Thunder Mountain and give some money to a place to help with programs in the future.. its called "paying it forward."
