We were annual purchasers of the Park Passes for decades since retirement 2010 DW and I have volunteered over 8000 hours to state and federal recreation and wildlife facilities with government dollar equivalent worth $180,000.00.
You can now earn a volunteers annual pass for 250 hours of service. These hours are cumulative, so it might take more than a year for many to accumulate them but it's a good goal to aim for.
When I was working I had more money than time. Now that I'm retired it's the opposite.
