National Park Service has it all wrong!!??

The pass issued for hours of service is only good for one year. Buy the Senior pass for $10, and skip the work. Rangers need paying jobs. The VIP program is a very good idea, and lets volunteers have access to the area attractions and a RV stte in return. It is not good when the NPS tries to replace trained rangers with untrained volunteers, and expects expects volunteers to crry the responsibilities of a paid ranger.
