good point.. was not sure how that worked. not worth the effort for a year pass which takes a year to earn. I will spend the (80) bucks and get a lifetime one.
My daughter got one last summer while interning in longmont CO. They, her and her boyfriend, came back via moab, grand canyon, petrified forest, meteor crater, and several NP's so the pass broke even for them. It still has till july, but this year she is going to Iceland for summer study abroad program. :B

Great response ! I just got to use my pass last year and managed to visit 7 national parks... more coming this year.
