Better solution, if midweek or during the school year the parks are empty, offer a discount for the slow periods.
Younger people spend a lot of money when they travel. Day for day, I bet the spend more than a retired couple as time is limited, so they pay for tours and extras to maximize the use of that time. If it's about money spent, maybe we should flip it and give the discount to the young families.
