But he really has this all backwards. By age 62 I have spent most of my life contributing to the National Parks system through my very considerable taxes to say nothing of many many visits over the years.
The cost of the Senior Pass is the Parks way of acknowledging that contribution. Most advanced western and some eastern societies have many more perks and discounts and out right freebies for those of us who have lived, worked, paid taxes, defended or served our country in varied ways and this is as it should be.
