Many of our National Parks are being loved to death. I designed our trailer for serious and not so serious boondocking. In the not so serious we use the campground shower houses and solar provides power.
When we went to Yosemite I tried to get park reservations and 5 seconds after the reservation process opened up there were none left. We ended up in a Diamond O national forest which turned out to be more spacious and I feel nicer, if not as scenic.
Our kids grew up tenting and if you wanted to get clean you went for a swim.
