In Rocky Mountain National Park on the east side, there are 3 CG. They are all at 8100-8500 feet in elevation. Daytime highs will get into the upper 70s/low 80s perhaps, nighttime lows will dip to the 30s. It's very comfortable weather, low humidity, but in June there's going to be a chance of afternoon rains to cool things down some. There may be a need for a fan to stir the air, but A/C is rarely needed there. Like it was previously mentioned, depends on how much time you'll be spending in camp during the day. If you're on the go all day, getting back at, say 5-6pm, you likely won't need either A/C or fan, particularly if a shower has moved through. You WILL need long sleeves in the evening. All 3 CG are also mostly shaded, the exception being Glacier Basin, which has a loop that is more open (D Loop, and better views). That also helps keep the sites cooler.
As for RV vs trailer site, in Rocky, as best I can tell, the only difference is the length of the site. I nearly always stay in B Loop, which has a variety of classifications, and can accommodate just about anything. I wouldn't worry if you have to book an "RV" site vs a "trailer" site.
If you wanna PM me with the exact campsite you have, and which CG and loop, I can give you more info. I'm up there a LOT!
