I've stayed in Moab during June and I was mighty glad for AC during the day; I stayed in a private CG near town, with hookups. Hot hot hot! Canyonlands isn't much higher elevation than Moab, is it? I won't go there during summer without AC, unless paid several thousand dollars for my discomfort.
If you will be without battery charging in Glacier or Yellowstone for more than 2 nights in a row, your battery could easily be drained (and start sulfating) from furnace use. When I had a 23' Rockwood I camped in CO near 8000' elevation and my TT's battery only lasted 1.5 nights before it got too low (at which point the furnace blower would run, slowly, blowing cold air only).
