Camped there in late January, 2009. The roads were paved, but the sites were not. My advice is try to avoid getting a site that is muddy. We were there after a big rain and the only sites open were too soft for my pickup - needed a neighbor with four-wheel drive to pull my F350 truck out of the mud.
I would stay there again since it's close to Homosassa Springs State Park.
