NC State Fairgrounds - Christmas

thanks to all on this forum who have mentioned the Fairgrounds as a possible place to stay and a special thanks to blucrabbie for responding to this post. I stayed here for 6 nights while visiting DD, SIL and DGD during week of Christmas. Security folks that took payments were great. I felt very comfortable here; although, there was some part of drive from interstate that appeared a bit less secure neighborhood. Back into site was easy and most RV's were scattered throughout the park, rather than bunched together. My mom was concerned that we would be in a field all by ourselves with no one else around, but there were about a dozen other RV's of different types, so she was happy too. Even the cat seemed to like the place, she would go outside and walk around a bit (on her leash off course), but didn't seem to be disturbed by people coming and going at night.
