need a place to overnight in Chicago. UPDATED

going to drop off the granddaughter at her dorm (Roosevelt University) near grant park then return the next morning to pick her and all of her stuff up and return home.
We will need a parking lot or truckstop to spend the night while she packs.
does anyone know of place where we could safely spend the night.

UPDATED...
Made the trip, navigated downtown between the EL posts. to the school. tight but doable. then spent the night In Hyatt parking lot about 15 miles west for $25. Was able to park in the street for about 2 hours while she packed up and loaded into the MoHo.
Roosevelt university Chicago.

    Are you planning to drive your coach into that area near Grant Park? probably far less congested now but not a very “motor home friendly” area.

    I can pull into a loading zone near the door and have her load up but only for the time it takes to load. that's why we will drop her off go spend the night somewhere then return to pick her up.

    Loop Auto Park is very near Roosevelt. We park there when we go to the Auditorium Theater. I have no clue what regulations would apply but you might google them and call to see if you could arrange to park overnight. I have seen fairly large rigs tailgating there when the bears are at home.

    Look into McCormick Place - it is just a parking lot, but is secure for overnighters. No hookups.

    I grew up in Chicago, I'd hop on 90 west to Rockford, about 30 mins out is a interstate rest area lots of overnight truck parking. I'd be nervous in the city overnight, it's one thing to be "tailgating" with groups of people vs that lone trailer in a parking lot.

    Call the school and find out if the school will be open for that semester. Not a sure thing these days.

    How much stuff we talking here?
    Push comes to shove, you could send her on the train from the Casino RV Park in Joliet. Goes into La Salle st station and then for taking an uber from there and back. Meeting her there, the next day to help carry, would work out and for then taking your good ole time if you want, back at the campground.
    Only thing is, the express is still close to 3hrs, each way, station to station.
    You're saying that you don't have a toad that would qualify, right?
    Even so, you could alternately rent something larger and drive from the CG for picking her and her stuff up.
