Need insight on "must see and do" Crystal River area
We'll be in Crystal River, Fla., for a week beginning Jan. 22nd. If anyone has suggestions for seafood restaurants and interesting places to visit, please post them. Teach

If you enjoy New England clam chowder you must have some at Dan's Clam Stand (2 locations). The BEST I've had. Then, the steamed shrimp at the Freezer is awesome. Definitely hit Homosassa Wildlife Park, rent a kayak or pontoon boat and go manatee watching. About 30 minutes south is Weeki Watchee-with their underwater mermaid show. Great area-that is why we winter here at Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park.
