We choose to live in a 55+ community and as a rule skip the major kiddie campgrounds and RV Parks. I don't dislike kids, I'm a former child myself (my bride would argue with "former"), but it is peace and quiet we often seek. When reviewing potential CG's/Parks we simply avoid the ones that brag about their playgrounds, typically go on a Sunday and come home on Friday and never do a holiday weekends.
We have not had any problem finding beautiful places to visit with a minimal number of kids. Timing and a little research usually gets us where we want to be. :C
