Need RV Campgrounds for over night near Tulsa to Joplin

Traveling EAST ON 44 need help with RV campground/resort for an overnight. About 6 years ago, we where in Tulsa OKL and did not plan for the night stay and could not find a campground. I know I can look on Good Sam, I just need your help. Class A towing a truck. This will be the last week of September. Thank you in advance for your help. Jane & Lee

  • We stayed a couple of nights at Warrior CG in Tulsa. Not bad for an overnite.
  • In Tulsa, Mingo RV Park on Mingo Road is just off I-244.

West of Tulsa, there is Keystone Lake State Park, off US 412. You need to turn north on Hwy 48 about 20 miles east of Tulsa.

Twin Bridges State Park is about 60 miles east of Tulsa, on US 60.

We have stayed at all of the above.

For a few days of pleasant camping, we like either of the state parks. But for a quick overnight just off the interstate, with nearly shopping, we would choose Mingo RV Park. Exit I-244 at Mingo Road. A call ahead is recommended, as they have only a few sites for travelers.
