Newbie Snowbird question
We are planning for our first 3-month long snowbird trip this winter.
We were discussing what to do (if anything) with the refrigerator while gone.
We can transfer the freezer stuff to our chest freezer. Assuming we can get rid of everything in the refrigerator section are there any negatives to just unplugging it for the 3-month long trip and propping the door open?
I don't know what the monthly cost is to run the average fridge/freezer and if it's worth it to go through the process.
