My Navy ship's reunion will be held at Newport,RI in September 2021.Are there any good campgrounds nearby that you would recommend?

2x on the Navy campground. It's the Carr Point Recreational Area off the Burma Rd at the Melville/Newport line. Absolutely one of the most scenic and private spots in southern New England. As mentioned open to active duty and retired military personel only.
