It all depends on your needs and wants in camping/campground. We're members @ Lazy Lakes and have been for 7 years. We enjoy the grounds and have enjoyed all of the ROD associated campgrounds we've stayed in so far. Yes the initial investment is high $12,000 total for us because we went with the Platinum membership. In the 7 years we've had the membership we've recouped about $7,000 of our membership costs based on computing overnight campground costs of avg. $40 per night, for the nights we've camped free at Lazy Lakes and the ROD campgrounds we've used.. We bought mainly to have access to the ROD/AOR campgrounds for free for when we go full timing.
