Big negative on this place....the owner is a total psycho!
Control freak doesn't even start to describe him....I go to a campground to relax, not to be herded over by someone who thinks he is king of his little domain.
We fulltime and have never encountered such a toad of a campground owner.
Out of level, muddy sites, with really narrow roads and did I mention the owner is a nut-job? - Mr_BeeboExplorerQuabache State Park is outside Bluffton, about 30 miles south of Fort Wayne. Nice spread out sites, quiet when we were there. Electric and water are available.
- MT_PoketsExplorerIt's closer to Indy than Ft Wayne:

Right on the White River (north of Noblesville). The river is pretty - good sites. Convenient for driving into Indy/Carmel/Connor Prairie.
This is a nice CG. - TennesseeBobExplorerI always stay at Timberline campground in Anderson. http://www.timberlinecampground.com/ It is just east of Indianapolis and about 2 miles off of I-69
