Try Crossroads RV park in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
Very new park, so it has all modern utility hookups.
Serious health issue comes up, you can be at Duke University Hospital in about 1 hr drive.
As mentioned by somebody else in NC, the dead of winter it gets cold, but we have been down there in mid-Feb and it was a lot nicer than mid-Feb. in NJ!
