This past winter we stayed at Siesta Bay. They have a great rate for a first time visitor. The bike path to the beach is at the front entrance. You are also about a mile from the Sanibel Island bridge. Lots less traffis on Summerlin so easy in and out of the park. Two pools and lots of activities. There is a kayak landing on Sanibel and also one at the marina just down the road as well as one of the road to Bunchee Beach. Great biking to Shell Point to see dolphin and lots of manatees. We don't think the location can be beat and with your first time visitor rate a great place for you. We definitely will be back.
