looking to go to fort Meyers in January any suggestions for campgrounds,rv park.....thanks

- Punta Gorda Alligator Point, FM, Siesta Bay, Indian Creek. Check rvparkreviews.com Good Luck finding a place this late in the year.
- Fourteen miles to the north is Sun N Shade in Punta Gorda. We've stayed there several times and used it as a base to visit friends in Ft Myers. Nice park.
- Ft Myers is a busy place during the winter months. Most places are already booked so you need to get busy trying to find a spot in the many campgrounds and resorts in the area. The closer you go to the gulf, the harder it will be to get a spot. Good luck.
- Check my earlier posts for a list of FM parks with addresses and phone numbers.

It is pretty busy in January but we've never really had any problems finding a place in early January. I think late January might be harder (I've seen places with 2 month minimum if you want to stay in Feb). - Riverside RV Resort. North of Ft. Myers. They had 10 spots open in Feb. Only reason that have sites is because they added 140 new premium sites.
