jeb5, please lighten up, and realize that your point of view is only one of perspective. (Someone told me that after one of my diatribes about the RGV.) Do offer help again; yours might be the one that makes a difference; and, don't be so fast to be offended.
For example, while you can be "at the flea market in 35 minutes," I can also be at that one, plus three others in the same amount of time, depending on the road taken, the time of day, and the traffic.
And, yes, depending on the traffic lights, I can get from MY favorite beach to SW Florida International in 45 minutes or less; but I have never had occasion to do that as we generally begin that journey from home. (Checked two different routes.)
If a snowbird does find himself (or herself) in a "slow-moving parking lot" it simply might mean that that person doesn't know the multiple alternate routes that can be taken to complete their particular journey that day.
Hey, we have "no traffic issues" in my hometown either, but then, they have only one traffic light. No traffic generally means "fewer people" and there is always a reason for "fewer people" isn't there?
