Our poor friend, though, has tried everything and can get nothing although his receiver fired up first try on our satellite dish. Unfortunately he had his LNB updated at home and he has an old LNB here so he likely is out of luck. Have a good winter everyone!
Depending on where he is at, just buy one of the new ones down here or have someone send him one from home. The mail/courier companies go south as well as north.
