I don't know about that park, but I can highly recommend CB Smith Park in Pembroke Pines.
I haven't camped at any of them in a number of years, but I think it's safe to say all of the Broward County parks, around Ft.Lauderdale, are very nice, although very crowded in the winter.
Broward County Campgrounds - RJ4ExplorerWe stayed here for 4 nights in April 2013. The sites were level, all utilities worked as they should and the grounds were well maintained.. This is a small park and there are no amenities but the location is good for easy access to the area. My understanding is the wife of the deceased owner was operating the park, hence no staff on site. We will stay here again.

- Parrothead_MikeExplorerNever stayed there, but check out the clicky below regarding Ft. Lauderdale campgrounds, including Northcoast.
