Lots and lots of fire activity going on in North Idaho and north central Idaho right now. You will do well to check on the area you plan to be before you get there. Fires are right in town at Kamiah and Orofino and getting close to Nez Perce. More fires in the Panhandle with some near Potlatch, Harvard and St Maries.
We have stayed at Heyburn State Park near Plummer and at an RV park right across the highway from Silverwood (the name escapes me right now). There is also a big RV park in Moyie Springs right on the river.
