As mentioned previously, fire is everywhere up here---BUT, the camping is still available. Search the web on the area you wish to visit, call the FS about campgrounds or contact the cities nearby (like Sandpoint, Coeur d Alene, Bonners Ferry, Wallace, etc.
We're very smoky here right now, but the temps have cooled off somewhat and life is going on. Fire info changes by the minute.
