Years ago, we made a quick trip to Steinhatchee, FL, didn't take the RV, but did take a 2 person tent.
We camped in a grassy area close to the Water all by ourselves. Went to bed about 10p.m....
All of a sudden we started seeing lights moving all around us, people walking around, and talking, we wondered, what the hellllls belllls is going on; and then it started; Woodstock part 2!
We looked out the tent and we were literally surrounded by Woodstockers!
Well, needless to say, we got up, sat in front of our tent surrounded by lots and lots of peoples, joined in, and listened to guitars and sing'n until about midnight.
Just like them pesky squirrels, if you can't beat em, join em like the rest of the nuts! (pun intended).
We will never forget our night at the Steinhatchee Woodstock, not just because of the Music, but we locked the keys in the Mazda p/u, but didn't lock the cap or the back window. DW went into the truck cap and very carefully slithered through that smallllllll Mazda P/U window.
I think she could still almost fit!
That's my story, and I'm stick'n to it!
Besides, I remember Davy's Pa and Uncle on the Over-mountain Victory Trail! Squirrels are good for somethin',,,,,,Dinner Time!
