Not many women boondock? Why?

I love to go off the beaten path (as a photographer and just an adventurous soul). I am a female but don't see too many women on this forum or any others actually. Men are always talking about the DW who is not herself unless she has a 20 minute shower (glad you convinced her to try boon docking) or wants a walk around bed or 3 slideouts or whatever. Just curious.

I boondock almost exclusively, and do so with and/or without my husband.

Just a matter of personal tastes. My wife and I only boondock, would sleep on the side of the road rather than in a crowded campground.

DW likes the idea of having electricity. We have stayed in WM and the side of the road on the way to Alaska. Just does not want to do it all the time. FHU is best.

Just like most women want a nest (home) to call their own. They don't mind camping for a short time, but long term? No thanks. Whereas men can get along just fine with very little.
