Siting here in OBX. Breezy but no bugs. Sunny with a cloudless sky, a litle chilly for this time of year, but there were folks on the beach geting sun, kids in the surf, and plenty of fun happening.
I walked the dog up the beach from Camp Hateras to the KOA and I am impressed with their recovery. There new "office" is probably the biggest building in the area. Pretty impresive structure. New cabins, new bathhouses, new rental trailers, new pretty much everything. Too bad they didn't put in concrete pads, and pave all the roads. Somne of them were still pretty swampy from the rain the other day. More young folks there in tents "partying" than at CH, but the KOA is more geared to young crowd. Might not be the place for the older crowd that gets upset about noise, music, tacky ights, or people having adult beverages.
