The spot we got was in the 2000 section, I would have liked one in a quieter section for maybe less traffic, but thats all I could get and grabbed it! I figured it was good to be so close to the beach, less of a walk with the kids toys.
You will be ok in the 2000 section. I will tell you though that mb resort next door has a bar at the end of Ocean lakes and they play music until around 1am or so. The closer you are to it, the more you can hear it. We didn't mind it last year when we were in that area. It was music we liked, lol. Just don't leave any coolers sitting outside unwatched. They will disappear, especially if beer is in them. There will also be fireworks on the beach nightly. It will not be quiet like a state park by any means. You will either enjoy it or hate it. To enjoy it, you gotta expect it to be louder than usual. You gotta expect there will be some idiots. You gotta expect there to be more golf carts in one location that you have seen in location than any other, to include ours and CecilT's ugly Virginia Tech one :).
Just remember that when you are on a road inside the campground, that its a road, meant for vehicles. That includes golf carts. The speed limit is 10mph. Not everyone obeys it, not even cars, trucks or motorhomes. Rent a golf cart and go on the golf cart parade nightly. Let the kids give their high 5's. trust me, it will be something they will remember for the rest of their life and will be talking about for days.
