Have spent the week in ocean lakes at myrtle beach. This park is completely out of control. The children on golf carts rule the roads from 8:30 pm on....trying to walk the dog is an exercise in simple...

We have camped at Pirate Land and I agree when we were ther the golf carts were bad. Not sure if it was our site but our little ones were almost hit several times while trying to ride their bikes. I felt sometimes it was like crossing 285 and for anyone in Atlanta knows how bad that is.
We camp now at Willow Tree. True it is not on the beach but for reasons most here know it is perfect for us. We love getting away for a week at a place that fits our family. I understand that many like being in the hustle and bustle and/or having the ocean beach close by but as people say hear each to their own.
