X2 :B - Jim_ShoeExplorerOne of my first camping memories with my parents was at Hueston Woods SP in Ohio. I was 6 or 7 years old at the time. And the memory? That's still the coldest water I've ever been in that didn't have ice on it. Now I live much closer to East Fork SP. In addition to the regular CG which has a mixture of dry and partial hook up sites, they have a couple of group camp sites including one with a corral for groups that bring their horses.
- kknowltonExplorer IIThat's good news. Ohio already has nice SP CGs. Sounds like they will be even better in a couple years time!
- jeb5ExplorerAdding 50 Amp service to many sites. New rest rooms, and general improvements. Good investment for Ohio.
- longrider1100ExplorerFull hook up sites will pay for themselves quickly. Campers will stay longer and come more often.
Now maybe they can hire a few more rangers to patrol for aggressive dogs. - JebsterExplorerThis is great news!! We go to Indiana State Parks because they are so much better than Ohio's. Now maybe we won't have to.
