I use google map and google earth all the time... Love google earth as you can zoom right on down to the park and see the sites with shade etc...
I read on one of these forums where a guy had just lost his mother and zoomed down to see the family house soon after that using street view and saw his mom sitting on the porch. Scared the heck out of him...
I'm surprised how up-to-date these Google Earth shots are. We just had a hugh overhead Electricl wires and tall supports go in here feeding a local Navy Base. Just a week or so after that was put up it was already being shown on Google Earth...
