Disregard, I just looked on Google Earth. Thats the type of place we like to stay around home, but if Im driving 12 hours I want to be right on the water and not have to walk back and forth from the camper. If I didn't have a little one it wouldn't be as big a deal either
Topsail is the best IMHO. Full hookups, resort amenities, room to breathe, mature tree lined sites, a swimming pool, and a handy tram ride to the pristine beach. We drive 1000mi every year to get there , and have returned 12 times!
Henderson is very nice but no FHU.
Restaurants and shopping in this area is spectacular also.
