We've stayed at Beverly Beach. It is a parking lot type (sand) campground and sits above a sea wall above the beach. If that sounds negative, don't let it. Every time we've been there we have thoroughly enjoyed it. Sun rises are beautiful and so is the beach. You won't have a pool or clubhouse, but Daytona Beach and all its touresty attractions are about 30 minutes away. So if you or your kids are into that sort of thing, you're covered. Some pretty good local restaurants are around, but you have to look for them. I believe BB's prices are a little more reasonable than the other campground you mentioned, but the amenities are fewer also. Our kids are grown, so that is unimportant to us. The lower rates mean a longer stay for us. Hope this helps with you decision.
