Anybody have an opinion on either one of these? We are looking at them for end of summer 2015. Beverly Beach Camptown on the AtlanticCamp Gulf on the Gulf.Our goal is waterfront camping and being near some attractions/restaurants for the evening.

For Destin many of us use Henderson Beach SP, or Topsail Hill Sp.Henderson is right on the water. Topsail is a real RV resort but is a half mile from the water by tram, bike, or walk.Camp Gulf is tight...

Are any of the sites at Henderson on the water, or are they pretty far away? Do you have a favorite site there? ThanksDisregard, I just looked on Google Earth. Thats the type of place we like to stay around home, but if Im driving 12 hours I want to be right on the water and not have to walk back and forth from the camper. If I didn't have a little one it wouldn't be as big a deal either

Henderson Beach SP is a nice one. Unless you have young kids, don't consider Camp Gulf. Haven't been to Beverly Beach but the Flagler beach area has plenty of restaurants and sights to see. We thoroughly enjoy St. Augustine too.

Full hookups, resort amenities, room to breathe, mature tree lined sites, a swimming pool, and a handy tram ride to the pristine beach. We drive 1000mi every year to get there , and have returned 12 times!Henderson is very nice but no FHU.Restaurants and shopping in this area is spectacular also.

If anybody has anything else to add we are all ears. We aren't attached to any one area. These were just a couple I found from searching on this forum

Henderson Beach SP is a nice one. Unless you have young kids, don't consider Camp Gulf. Haven't been to Beverly Beach but the Flagler beach area has plenty of restaurants and sights to see. We thoroughly enjoy St. Augustine too.
