Orangeland RV Park

Hello All. Headed to Orange County in March 2017 for a wedding. Would like to take our new 40' 5th wheel. Looking at Orangeland RV park. Anyone on here that has stayed there and thoughts on it. We are also open to anyplace down there that is about 30 minutes from this area. Daughter lived in Aliso Viejo and worked in Tustin for about 13 years. Kind of a little familiar with the area, but only for short stays. Thanks

  • Thank you eveyone for your replies. After spending most of the day online, we finally wound up with 4 nights at San Clemente State Beach and 7 nights at San Mateo Campground. I know it is a further drive, but had some positive feedback on those.
  • A lot depends on where the wedding & reception are. Orangeland is very centrally located. There are other RV parks closer to Disneyland, the famous Newport Dunes RV park in Newport Beach, Canyon RV Park on the 91 Freeway past Anaheim Hills, Crystal Cove State Park in Laguna Hills, and even Doheny State Beach in Dana Point.

You would really like Orangeland though.
  • it has been several years that we stayed there, but it was ok. we were there for a wedding, too.:)
the sites are not overly wide, but we didn't use the site for anything but sleeping.
lots of orange trees, and they were ready for picking when we were there, so that was a bit of a plus.
make reservations EARLY because it's close to Disneyland, so it stays pretty full.
