The weekends are the worst, with heavy traffic before and after the air show times. Heck, the air traffic after the air shows is really heavy. :) They line 'em up and take 'em off two at a time. Pretty funny watching a Lear jet taking off after a Piper Cub. :)
My understanding is that they've opened the flight line up to people other than EAA members and guests. That could make it really crowded.
