Outer Banks suggestions?

Camp Hatteras is my favorite for that time of year and even in the winter.... The indoor pool and hot tub are an added bonus on those cool rainy days.

Yes you are so right, the other couple just left there and find they are only ones allow outside carts, we don't use one for travel but our friends do. Prob will wind up there if we g SC way. Thanks!

Make sure you have insurance on your golf cart before going to Ocean Lakes. They used to have a requirement of a certain level. Want to say $50k, but it may be different now.

I've also been to all of them and have a different opinion of which is best. It just depends on what you're looking for in a campground.

October is a wonderful time to visit the OBX. We head there twice a year, both on the shoulder seasons, and Oct is by far my most favorite time to visit. The weather is superb as is the fishing, and the clientele are more to our liking: empty nesters like us.

I did email Hatteras Sands and they said cart was ok. pets ok, got 2 sites for us, so sounds good. Just cant pin down hat week yet,other couple wife is a ER nurse, so got to wait for her dates. Thanks so much for advise!!!

Myrtle Beach Travel Park.

We did th KOA and liked it. There are sites next to the ocean, but there's a dune between the campground and the water, so no water views. For water views, Ocean Waves on the sound side. According to their website, they are open until Nov 15th.
