Outstanding RV Park

A word about trees. My rig is 13 feet tall so not seeing trees is a good thing and one less thing I have to worry about.

I agree, I have a rig the same height and it's nice not to have to watch for low hanging branches, or navigate around trees when trying to get into a site. We like campgrounds at times, and RV parks other times.

Looks nice for an overnighter. We prefer trees and a more natural setting though even when just sightseeing around the country. Lack of tree shade is a huge minus in our book. Different strokes for different folks.

Just goes to show: Different people like different things. (To me, the sites look very small, there's no shade, no privacy. It'd be okay for an overnight while traveling though.)

I like this statement. We are the same. We RV to travel and sightsee. It is about a home on wheels for our adventures :)

When we want rustic, we choose it. When we want a nice RV park we choose it. There are days I want to sit in the trees next to a roaring river and fight the bugs :), and days I want this exact park you posted with a ton of great amenities at a reasonable price.

With the Good Sam discount we paid $37 for the night.

This isn't what I consider a campground, it's an RV park with the amenities you might expect at an RV park. I posted about the park for those who might be visiting the Topeka, KS area or traveling across I-70 looking for a place to stop for the night.

DW and I have been RVing for many years and, for the money, this is one of the nicest RV parks we've ever stayed at. Normally parks this clean and nice charge a much higher nightly rate.

How boring! No one wants to read about a good RV park. There had to be something really bad, maybe you stayed at another park that was terrible, we would like to hear about that one.

Really looks like a well taken care of place. I like those kinds of places once in a while. Kind of reminds me of Cedar Point, just as clean!

There are campers and RVrs. That place is good for the RVrs. The camper crowd generally prefers more rustic settings. We prefer the more rustic places. However that place looks very clean & orderly.
