Overnight in Palm Desert/Indio area

Hi everyone, and Happy New Year! I'm looking for suggestions for an one night stop over location in the Palm Desert/Indio area. Would need a pull through spot as I don't want to unhook the toad for only one night. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

    X3 for Spotlight 29 Casino. Large paved lot reserved for RV's. Great free place to stop for the night as long as you don't need hookups.

    Just thought of this..if you want to sleep at a rest stop, try Whitewater. They have rest stops on the south and north side of I-10. It is mostly truckers. The area is just west of Palm Springs and should be safe to stay.

    If you want to stay close to I-10, try the Fantasy Springs Indian Casino. I believe it is across the freeway from the 29 casino. Both have free rv parking with casino security. Once you get past there, in Beaumont, you have the Cherry Valley RV Resort.

    I am here at Indian Waters in Indio for a month - great place. On Jackson St about 2 miles south of I-10. Stop in.

    I have always liked Indian Waters RV park. In the past free breakfast. Security gate, parties and club house.
