Overnighter off of I-64 Mt Vernon, IL

We stopped for one night after traveling west on I-64 last night. Even though it isn't in the Woodall's Directory, we were lucky to find this little gem. It is an easy on and off from exit 95. It is called Quality Times RV campground and it isn't exactly quality but it is a good overnighter. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He gave us a good level pull-through with full hookups and cable for only $25 a night. It has several permanent worker types but they are all very respectful and quiet. Due to bad weather, we decided to stay another night and feel totally comfortable here.

  • Here is another one if you are traveling on I-29 in Iowa. We stopped in Onawa, IA at a campground called ON UR WA campground. Wonderful place. Very clean, level LONG pull through sites. Owners are very helpful and do everything to make things perfect for each visitor. Wifi worked great. We have decided to stay 10 nights to get through the weekend and July 4th congested campgrounds. Owner gave us a special price since we are staying longer. Will make sure I put this place down as a great place to stop for further trips.
  • briene, I did post on RV Park Reviews. I also posted on the dump we hit at our next stop.
  • There are some nice little places like that all over. We don't overnight in parking lots, so often find quick on-off cg's for overnight. Almost always at what I consider to be reasonable prices. I've never felt in danger, and usually pull out in the morning after a good nights sleep. Thanks for posting another one. Did you take a minute to post on RV park reviews?
