PA campgrounds open year round

Anyone know any campgrounds in eastern PA area (closer to NJ) that may be open year round? Or let you stay there all year......

  • We always used to travel in the non-vacation times. While there may be a park that says it is open, there may also be no water or dump available. The best was the park that shut off the electric, I guess they were afraid that might freeze.

  • couple of State parks are open year round (French Creek and Michaux)
I'm sure there are others - check the DCNR website
  • I don't know about Eastern PA, but about 40-mins East of the Delaware Water Gap there's a place called Fla-Net Park (Exit 27 off of Rt. 80). It's open year-round. Looks like there are a lot of semi-permanent residents. Convenient (walking distance) to shopping.
